can be achieved by using TIPO`s treatment and training program.
The treatment will in many cases result in high
functioning autism and also in some cases a complete recovery
without any symptoms of the disorder.
TIPO’s treatment and teaching program covers
all important areas of children’s functioning, and also covers
most of the hours the child is awake. This is done through
direct 1:1 treatment. The new skills the child gains, is generalized
to be performed in important environments for the child and
the child’s family. For all the learned skills, the child
will be given the possibility to practice in everyday situations,
with the parents, and the childs training staff, as “generalisations
agents”. The child will be given success by first mastering
the simplest skills, for example understanding linguistic
instructions like “look at me”, “give me a hug” etc. Easy
skills like that will make the basis for gradually more complex
functions, for example to point out the right substantive,
verb, peoples names, the name for a room and for feelings.
Success in these preface skills will make it possible to use
the skills in easy playing and teamwork with other children.
